For the first time in my life, I feel confident. I completed a goal that I set out to do. From March 2014 to December 2014, I completed my new years resolution that I have had for the past 10 years, to lose weight. 130 pounds to be exact. However, along the way, I gained some new realizations:
-It was NOT about losing weight
-It was NOT about fitting into clothes (although walking into the mall and buying something off the hanger for the first time was pretty awesome!)
-It WAS about waking up every morning ready to take on the day
-It WAS about feeling great and knowing that I will have this feeling for the rest of my life
-It WAS about knowing the right things to eat and how to balance a meal
The point of this blog is not to convince you to lose weight or to work out a ton. It is just to show how a healthy lifestyle, creates a new perspective and outlook on the future.
